1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using SubSnap ("Service") available at subsnap.slicksage.com, operated by Slicksage, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, you must discontinue using our website and services immediately.

2. Description of Service

SubSnap provides automated speech recognition, synchronized subtitle alignment, styling controls, subtitle translation, and video rendering utilities. We offer a Free Tier and a paid Pro Subscription:

• Free Tier: Allows up to 20 video transcriptions per day for clips up to 2 minutes in duration. Exported videos may include a subtle watermark.
• SubSnap Pro: Available for $5 per month, providing unlimited daily exports, support for videos up to 60 minutes in length, exclusive subtitle styles, and watermark-free video exports.

3. User Accounts and Billing

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized access to your account.

Pro subscriptions are billed monthly in advance via our authorized billing partner, Razorpay. You may cancel your subscription at any time via your account settings. Subscriptions remain active until the end of the current billing cycle. Payments are non-refundable except where required by law.

4. User Content and Intellectual Property

Your Ownership: You retain complete and full ownership, copyright, and intellectual property rights in and to any videos, audio tracks, and text you upload or create using SubSnap. SubSnap does not claim any ownership over your content.

License to Operate: By uploading media to the Service, you grant SubSnap only the temporary, worldwide license necessary to process, transcribe, align, and render your video as instructed by your session.

5. Acceptable Use Policy

You agree that you will not use the Service to:

• Upload or distribute content that infringes upon third-party copyrights, trademarks, or privacy rights without authorization.
• Upload content containing illegal material, malicious software, defamatory statements, or hate speech.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, disrupt, or excessively overload our backend rendering systems and servers.
• Circumvent account quotas, security controls, or billing restrictions through automated scripts or unauthorized scraping.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. While we strive for high transcription accuracy and reliable video encoding, we do not warrant that transcription results will always be error-free or uninterrupted.

7. Limitation of Liability

In no event shall Slicksage, SubSnap, or its directors, employees, or partners be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of the Service.

8. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to revise or update these Terms of Service at any time. When modifications are made, the "Last updated" date at the top of this page will be revised accordingly. Continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.
