• Account Information: When you sign in using Google or email authentication, we receive your email address, display name, and unique user identifier provided by Firebase Authentication.
• Video & Audio Processing Data: Videos uploaded to SubSnap are processed in your browser and on our temporary rendering servers to extract speech, generate synchronized caption timestamps, and burn subtitles into the exported video. Media files are held temporarily in volatile memory or isolated temporary storage solely for the duration of the export task and are permanently removed after completion. We do not sell or use your private video files for machine model training.
• Usage Data: We log basic usage statistics such as daily transcription counts and subscription status to enforce free quotas and active plan benefits.
• Payment Information: When you subscribe to SubSnap Pro, transactions are processed directly by our payment processor, Razorpay. We do not store or process your complete credit card numbers or banking credentials.

3. Cookies and Advertising Technologies

We use cookies, local storage, and similar web technologies to keep you authenticated, remember your subtitle styling preferences, and deliver relevant advertisements on our free tier.

4. How We Use Information

Information collected is used strictly for:

• Providing, maintaining, and improving our captioning tools and transcription accuracy.
• Managing user accounts and enforcing plan limits.
• Processing Pro membership transactions and sending transaction receipts.

5. Data Retention and Security

Uploaded video clips and exported video files are retained only for the transient period required to complete speech recognition and file download. Video files are discarded immediately upon session completion. Account profiles and billing references remain stored securely in encrypted databases until you request account deletion.
